A letter regarding reconciliation from Fr. Hamlett

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is critically important for spiritual life during this Lenten season and especially during this turbulent time of uncertainty. Therefore, I will be hearing confessions three times next week to receive God's grace, mercy and forgiveness.

Please make note of the following precautions:
  • safe distancing within the church
  • no face-to-face confessions
  • no prolonged period of spiritual direction
These steps are necessary to keep both the penitent and the priest safe.

The schedule is as follows:
Monday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Tuesday 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Please be considerate and reserve Wednesday evening for those who work and cannot come during the day.

The bulletin will be available on the parish website and will be one of the best ways to keep you posted and connected to our parish family.

While I am privately offering Mass for your intentions, I encourage you to access EWTN for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass during this time. The Sunday Mass will also be available through streaming. Please go to eriercd.org for additional information.

As always, in the event of an emergency, please call the office phone and leave a message. The parish office personnel will be working from home but I'll be checking the phone periodically for messages.
